Hot Tangy BBQ Chicken Wings

Serves up to 6

Ingredients:

20 fresh chicken wings
1 jar of Hot Tangy BBQ Sauce
some fresh (or dried) thyme, parsley, bay leaf, black pepper
1 onion, quartered
salt

Method

Place wings in a large saucepan, cover wings fully with cold water. Add the dried or fresh herbs, onion and salt.

Bring to the boil and then simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove wings and allow to cool down before liberally covering with BBQ sauce.

Leave for at least 45 minutes (overnight if you’ve really got time) then grill in oven or BBQ, basting occasionally with a bit more sauce if you want.
